Her skipping step slowed as she neared her office door, seeing that no one else was around her smile vanished from her now not so cheery face. She gripped the door knob and turned it. opening the door and walking into her office, closing the door behind her. For a moment she stood looking all around the room, slowly observing all. She noticed a black, blue like rose laying on her desk. She made her way over to the desk and looked down at the rose, much sorrow in her eyes. She walked behind her desk and sat in the chair, leaning back in it and looking up at the celing, quietly mumbling something to herself and going into deep thought.

For some reason she was taking this friends death very harshly, she hated this fact he had died. What she hated even more was a fellow clan member had killed him, a clan member she was starting to respect. Now all she could think about was hate for the first time in her life, revenge...why revenge? These thoughts consumed her mind as her eyes drifted back to the rose laying on the desk. Her eyes narrowed slightly as a light glow came about them. A small pea sized amount of light drifted slowly out of the top of the flower, from its petals. Making the light flow over the flower it wilted away quickly, a light breeze of the light swept over the ruint plant and turned it to pure ash. She placed her hand on the table and whiped what was left of the rose into the trash can beside her.

Her eyes returning to normal, she layed back in her chair once more. Looking out the window and sighing softly, her fingers lightly drumming over the arm of the chair. She then brought her legs into the chair with her, hugging them and resting her head on her knees, watching the door infront of her. She was wishing she wasn't alone, yet again...

Being a bit startled from Rui walking in , she dropped her feet and sat in the chair normaly. She nodded to the chair infront of her, wanting him to sit. " Of course Sir, what is there to speak of?" She somehow felt slightly better, just with someone else's prescence in the room. She glanced around the room slowly then her eyes landed on him as she sat up straight in her chair, resting her hands on her lap as she waited for him to speak.

From within the deepest and darkest parts of the main building, the shadows began to twirl, flowing up towards the ceiling, then back down once more towards the ground, spreading out over the floor. Then, the shadows compacted themselves together, and began to form a figure, starting from bottom to top. Once finished, it as obvious that the figure was Xero Hexus, the ultimate Paladin, standing straight up, holding his Shadow Staff in his right hand. Xero cracked his neck, and adjusted the golden bonds upon his wrists so that they fit comfortably around them. His feet rest softly and also comfortably in his ninja-like shoes, covered in a dark black color. Xero's Soul Necklace lay smugly agaisnt his chest, the Soul Orbs upon the necklace circulating from the inside, no doubt the souls within them stirring up once more, as they always did. Focusing now, Xero gazed upon the building he was in, with his piercing Shadow eyes, looking for something of great value to take back, to take it from the one who had stole it. After a few minutes of scanning, Xero finnaly found two life signatures within the building, down the hall and too his left to be exact. Now, Xero began to walk slowly towards the end of the hall, were he would then take a left turn down another hall, ending up to be standing about ten feet away from the room were the heat signatures were.

Xero began to walk once more, and as he did, the lights within the entire building would begin to flicker, before actually shutting off completely, leaving the building in utter darkness. Even in the darkness Xero still made his way to the door, thanks to his Shadow Eyes. Slowly, Xero extened his right arm towards the door, grasping the knob with one of his powerful hands. Not wanting to give away who he was just yet, Xero decided to swoop into the room So, Xero flung open the door to the office, which was im complete darkness, and dispersed his shadows to search the room, while he stood about five feet from the doorway, hidden in a dark corner, his shadow searching for what had belogned to the soul he had taken, the soul of Mange..

Before Rui had the chance to sit, the lights in the building suddenly flickered, then went compleatly dark. Leaveing all the area in darkness. Kirsty glanced around aimlesly in the pitch black room as she wondered what had happned. She stayed seated as she lifted her right hand, extending her pointer finger, a light appearing at its tip and lighting up only where she pointed to, some what like a flash light. All looked the same as she shown the light on the walls, then she noticed the door open when she shown the light that direction. She stood and glanced around the room, shinning the light in all areas, as she then spoke, a slight crack in her shaking voice. " W-whos there!?"

As the woman lifted her lit finger, and shone it around the room, Xero instantly took action agaisnt the unwanted light. Quickly, he thrusted a ball of shadows at her finger, which would most likely put put the light on her finger tip. With that done, he began to scan the room once more in complete darkness, searching for Mange's blade. Soon, he came across it. Not wanting to allow anyone else in the room, he shut the door, whih cut off all or any light coming through it, also blocking them from the outside world. Seeing the blade, he began to reach for it, his shadows coverging around the blade's handle as he slowly, and steadily, began to lift it, watching incase the woman tried anything.

The light on her finger would be dimmed by shadow, then fully go out. The door soon closeing after, causing all light in the room to be fully gone. She could now hear sounds of movement, she could still sense even though she couldnt see. She took a step closer to the blade for some reason, she felt the most power and presense by that area. She held her flat palm out towards the blade, a beam of light sprawling from her fingertips and dancing around the blade. The light reflecting off its metal caused the room to light up more, she still could not see much but light continued to fall from her hands and move along the ground like a light white mist. Her eyes changed to a bright white glow as she said in a more firm serious voice." You have one last chance to answer me.."

He would growl at the light around the blade now, as he turned to face the woman who emited this cursed light. Turning to her, he had a angry expression on his face, his black hair had fallen over his eyes, leaving only a small portion of his Shadow Eyes visible from the sides. The Soul Orbs around his necklace circulated faster now, feeling their master's anger. The soul in the middle, circulated faster than the others, for it seemed to recognize the girl someone. The soul had been Mange's soul, although Xero doubted she knew that. Speaking now, in a deep demonic voice, he said, " My name...is one since long forgotten...but if you must...call me Xero...Xero Hexus is the full version... Now that we have that settled..tell me...wha is the name of the woman who makes this acursed light..? Waiting for an answer, his shadows began to rotate now, around his frame.

Seeing he was agrivated by the light, she toned it down, pulling the mist back to herself as it slowly dissapeared and turned the room darker once more.The only light left coming from the palm of her hand in which she faced away from him, as not to make him anymore uncomfortable. " I'm Kirsty Lavell, its nice to meet you Xero..i uhm think. May i ask why you are here?" Her voice now softer and calm, carrying a better more bright sounding tune to it as she stared at what she thought to be the figure in the darkness.

Sighing, he would snap his fingers, allowing the lights in the room to turn on, but on a dim scale, for he still didn't want alot of light. Looking her over now, he spoke once more, in the same demonic voice, "I've come..for the blade of Mange...the one who's soul I hold here..." He pointed to the orb infront of his necklace, and looked around the room. In the light, his bare chest was visible, along with his gold wrist bands, three on each wrist, each having an ancient engraving upon them. "So..you gonna let me take this blade...or am I gonna have to fight for it...I really don't feel like fighting...so if I force it...it's not going to go well for you.."

She let her hand fall back down as the light from it subsided. She looked the man over for the first time as she then stopped when hearing certain words from him. Her eyes widened slightly as she looked at the item he pointed to when saying Mange's soul was with in it. This made her feel happy to be near him again, upset that he wasnt really alive and most of all, she couldn't decide if she was comfortable with this man having it or not. Her eyes slowly faded back to their normal color as she looked to the blade and backed away from it. She had nothing to say and she didnt know of anything to do. One thing she knew for sure, she didnt want to fight and she sort of just wanted this man gone now.." Take it...its yours" She turned away from him and looked at the back wall in the dim light, clearing her throat and sucking up any emotions, as well as she could..

As she began to say "Take it, it's yours." Xero looked her over, she seemed as if she wanted to cry, or just shout out in anger, but couldn't. Sighing, he slowly summoned his shadows, and made them wrap around the entire blade, engulfing it within the shadows. Still looking at her, Xero began to move the shadows towards him, grabbing the sword's handle as it came to him. Xero's eyes remained in the same state and in the same position, looking at her. He couldn't shake the feeling that he knew her from somewere, and it was bugging him. As she began to turn away from him, he frowned and extended the blade, making the point of it rise about an inch away from her neck. "Face me..." He said. He wanted to know what was bugging her, and find out a little more about her before leaving.

Slowly she turned and faced him on his command, only to find the blades tip at her nose. She eyed it then looked at him, taking a small step back as she looked him in the eyes. She wondered what he wanted, she somehow wondered why he seemed so familier.." Yes..?" Her faint voice said as she stood looking at him curiously.

Xero looked at her, seeing her step back he lowered the blade to his right side, letting the point rest atop the ground. Focusing on her now, he began to wonder why she was so familar to him. Maybe she wasn't familar to him, maybe to one of the souls around his neck,possibly Mange's soul. For when Xero took a soul, and incased it within a soul orb around his neck, he was able to see the life of the person's soul he had taken, every obstacle in life they had to overcome, and most of the people they had ever met in their time on this planet. Leaning agaisnt a wall now, Xero crossed his arms, letting the sword rest agaisnt the wall next to him as he looked Kirsty over again. "You...knew Mange didn't you..?" He said in a low tone of voice. Even though he had asked that question, he pretty much knew the answer to it.

She listned to him speak as she then answered his question, nodding softly as she kept her eyes focused on his." Yes, yes i did.." A slight whisper in her voice as her glance fell the the floor. She crossed her arms over her chest, suddenly feeling a bit awkward ifnront of Xero for some reason..Her left foot lightly tapped on the floor as she waited for him to respond.
